The blueprint for the future office

Vicoustic's new offices in Charneca da Caparica, near Lisbon, were designed as a blueprint for the future office, as aimed by the company's Acousticians and Designers.

This space is the perfect model of how the VicBooth Office array can be a far-reaching sustainable ecosystem of phone booths, private spaces, and isolated meeting rooms. Within the room, you can see a VicBooth Office 3x4 Conference Booth being used for meetings and presentations. Nearby you can find a VicBooth Office 1x1 Phone Booth, for phone calls or videoconferences in sound privacy, with interior VMT custom-made walls using the brand's signage.

The office likewise displays other acoustic solutions from Vicoustic, including Flat Panel VMT Natural Stones, VicSpacer with custom-designed Flat Panel VMT panels, and Vicoustic's flagship product Wavewood Ultra Lite. In the waiting room, you can find a set of ViCloud VMT 3D Round and GEN_VMT Penray 02 Tiles. The ceiling was treated with tailored Suspended Baffles, also settled using VMT.

Sustainable and safe space

Being developed from the framework of the EU Green Office handbook, the concept for this office is to be sustainable. By applying VMT acoustic solutions, developed with VicPET Wool, a non-woven textile primarily produced from recycled plastic bottles, the space is making use of the latest eco-friendly acoustic and interior design solutions.

Alongside the use of recycled materials, that are also recyclable at the end-of-life cycle, Vicoustic’s new line of VMT solutions takes a holistic approach into account by fully integrating its acoustic performance with other sustainability goals, such as air quality, human safety, and health.

VicPET Wool is a low emitting material with zero-emissions of VOC (Volatile Organic Compounds), Fire resistance rated (EuroClass B fire regulations and safety standards), certified by OEKO-TEX 100 Standard, meeting the human-ecological requirements presently established for baby articles, with no chemicals used, and does not irritate skin or eyes, being also washable and easy to clean, simply by a sponge and water.

Award-winning solutions

The office displays the two latest awarded solutions developed by the brand, such as the German Design Award 2022 winner VicBooth range, and the Red Dot Product Design 2020 winner GEN_VMT collection, making it a standard for the finest interior design settings. The office desks are two benches of six seats from the TEMMA line, supplied by our partners MPG Furniture.
