For José Veiga, producer and electronic music artist, both solo and in collaborative projects, it is the first time he has a dedicated space, with acoustic treatment, where he can perform the recording, mixing and mastering in a reliable and controlled way. The studio project for ZZY Prod included an acoustic study conducted by a technician in the area. Subsequently, Vicoustic was contacted in order to acquire the necessary materials.
"I am very happy with the final result, the acoustic treatment allows me to make my productions and mixes with much more rigor and detail. Furthermore, this new studio gives me the possibility to collaborate with other artists and projects as a producer and sound technician", says José Veiga.
The artist has several EPs and albums released with his solo project of experimental electronic music, which goes by the name of ZZY. Recently, he got involved with a new project called Yawn Society where he works as a music producer, beatmaker and sound designer. This project fuses jazz and electronic music, with some experimentalism and improvisation, and debuted recently with their first EP 'Soma', which had very positive reviews from critics.
