VicBooth Office Plus for APR Technology Open Office

APR Technology Solutions' office in Porto, combines an open-plan workplace with a dark, minimal interior designed for collaboration. Within that open environment, calls, client meetings and quick catch-ups needed a greater level of acoustic privacy, without compromising the architecture of the space.

Three VicBooth Office Plus acoustic booths were integrated side by side into the workspace, creating dedicated spaces for calls and meetings while preserving the openness and visual identity of the office. Custom-branded to match the interior, the booths add acoustic comfort without introducing additional walls.

Acoustic Booths Integrated into the Workspace

Two VicBooth Office Plus Phone Booth (1x1m) frame the composition, providing compact acoustic spaces for private calls and video meetings. Rated Class B for speech privacy under ISO 23351-1, they allow confidential conversations to take place just a few steps from the open workspace.

At the centre, VicBooth Office Plus Duo Booth (1x2m) creates a more generous setting for private one-to-one meetings, interviews and focused collaboration. APR specified a standing-height worktop instead of the standard low table, supporting shorter, more informal conversations.

Finished in black and customised with APR’s logo etched into the glass, all three booths align with the office’s dark, minimal material palette, allowing them to read as part of the interior architecture rather than as standalone office equipment.

The result is a workplace that retains the openness and visual coherence of the original interior while adding dedicated acoustic privacy exactly where it is needed.
