2021 was a big year for Tania Gallardo, a Mexican American singer-songwriter located in Los Angeles, California. As her songwriting style evolved, she felt the need for her own individual space to work from, a place where she could be creative and find inspiration.
The space of a garage was converted into a Control Room & Isolation Booth, by Nelson Construction with Haverstick Designs serving as the acoustical consultant and designer on the project. With a quiet residential area just outside the studio, sound insulation solutions were used to properly isolate the space from its surroundings.
Once the room was constructed, Vicoustic's Multifuser Wood MKII was selected for diffusion on the back wall, combined with customized treatment and LED lighting, which helped to create the pristine acoustical environment needed to properly work in the space. The room was finally equipped with its gear and equipment by Vintage King and Focal speakers. We look forward to all the music that will be created in this space!
Special thanks to Haverstick Designs, acoustic consultant on this project.
