“I'm extremely satisfied with the results”

“I am extremely satisfied with the results of the acoustic treatment in my studio. While it's true that having a top-of-the-line studio isn't a prerequisite for making great music, having a room where the sound accurately represents what will be heard on various sound systems is a tremendous advantage. The improvements in my studio's acoustics have significantly enhanced my music production process, and I'm genuinely delighted with the overall outcome.”

Juliann James, electronic music producer

VicSpacer and VMT used for bass trap

The studio of Juliann James presents an ingenious design by making use of the VicSpacer developed to enhance Flat Panel VMT innovatively. They installed the high panels as bass traps in the corners of the room, customizing them to be highly absorbent for the low frequencies emitted by the PMC speakers. To achieve this, they essentially combined two VicSpacers, extending the height of the panels to better address the bass frequencies. Additionally, a key element in this setup is that most of the panels were mounted slightly away from the wall, creating a gap that enhances their ability to trap sound reflections. “This ingenious design allows us to effectively manage the acoustics in the room without the need for exceptionally thick panels”, says the music producer.

Both the front wall and the rear wall were treated with the Cinema Forte VMT ultimate sound absorbers, which bring also an unmatchable design to the room.

“The room underwent a remarkable transformation”

"I chose Vicoustic for my studio because of the extensive range of options and solutions offered in their catalog. Their versatility and quality products perfectly cater to my studio's acoustic needs, allowing me to achieve the desired sound environment for my music production.

The acoustic treatment made a significant difference in my room. Initially, it was an empty space, which resulted in excessive sound reflections. However, after mounting the panels on both the ceiling and walls, the room underwent a remarkable transformation. It now possesses a controlled acoustic environment, which is absolutely ideal for the critical tasks of mixing and mastering. The treatment has effectively eliminated unwanted reflections and created a more balanced and acoustically pleasing space for my audio work."
