Mixing Vixagon Mini
Stanislav Valev, better known as STANI, is a famous Bulgarian producer who gave the opportunity to professional acoustic consultants from Supersound Bulgaria and Acoustic Force to design and build together this amazing studio for mixing and mastering in Plovdiv.
The acoustic treatment was made with the best products in the field of acoustics produced by Vicoustic. One of the key elements was the use of Vixagon Mini combined to create a unique design, like you can see in the installation video:
Like a space ship
"The visual design was inspired by me meeting a futuristic vision of space ships and modern trends of acoustic solution for small studios", says STANI. "After the treatment the result was amazing. The sound changed dramatically!"
In the acoustic measurement taken before installing the treatment, the results showed that there were deviation in the impulse response in the middle and high frequencies due to not controlled environment in the room. The room was sounding less spaces and with overtone. "The measurement confirm the subjective filling. There was a perfect decay curve in the water flow analysis, snood frequency response and not a single overtone", explains the producer.
