Integrate life and music

"Any artist I record feels like a superstar playing in this room", says Zulfiqar Jabbar Khan, a composer and music producer in Pakistan, popularly known as Xulfi, about his recording room treated with Vicoustic solutions. "I feel that only now I’m able to hear my room with my mics in utmost purity."

Xulfi wanted a blend between a cosy living room and a high performance recording studio. That was achieved with a mix between VMT solutions like Flat Panel and ViCloud 3D, developed for Interior Design, Residential and Commercial sectors, and the VicPattern Wavewood, Multifuser DC2 and Wavewood Ultra Lite, traditionally used in the music industry. "I absolutely love it now after the Vicoustic treatment. The eco-friendly and health friendly products have transformed my room to not just a recording space, but a conversation space too and it's aesthetically pleasing."

It's a "super hit" room

"I truly believe innovation is sparked by spaces. In my recording room’s case, the Vicoustic aesthetics have really put a visual character to my room in addition to the beautiful sonic character and feedback I always wanted to achieve. I’d say it's a super hit." Zulfiqar adds it was "a memorable phase" of his professional and personal life the way Tera Generation Solutions helped configure it, with late night sessions and on site testing/placements. "I would also like to thank Vicoustic's technical department who helped us resolve the last glitch we had in that troublesome corner".

After having recorded electric guitars, vocals and acoustic guitars in the room, Xulfi concludes: "I can confidently claim that all are my best recordings to date. I absolutely love the fact that now my room can sound as intimate and as spacious with utmost cleanliness effortlessly."

Space for a mentor

Xulfi is Pakistan’s ace producer with countless hits in his portfolio. His brainchild Nescafé Basement is an award winning initiative where he discovers and mentors young artists across Pakistan to create music in his space, now equipped by Vicoustic. He conceived the idea for what became Nescafé Basement TV show and produced the fiery season back in 2011. The show has seen five seasons until now and has a cult following across the globe. Xulfi has discovered and mentored more than 190 artists across Pakistan during the course of the show. He is also one of the star producers of Coke Studio TV show, in Pakistan.
