Otu from Moonic Productions shows how an acoustic treatment can change the sound quality, echoes, reverberation, and room modes, in an impressive way. You can tell the difference in the before and after shot of how the studio sounded like and how it sounds now, that he shared on YouTube.
"I've never had a studio this nice-looking before. It looks amazing", says Otu, after making the installation himself, following the instructions and the concept design for Acoustic Treatment developed by the Vicoustic Project Team.
In order to control early reflections, Vicoustic proposed sound-absorbing panels, which control early reflections by taking energy from them (this is being done by Vicoustic’s Cinema Round Premium and Wavewood Ultra Lite panels). The Wavewood Ultra Lite panels will also contribute to preventing the room from becoming too acoustically “dry” or “dead”, by reflecting a portion of the high-frequency sound energy back to the room.
Otu can now receive artists and musicians to work with good sound quality. Learn more at Moonic Productions and follow his YouTube ChannelYouTube Channel.
