A sustainable broadcasting facility

Studio 4 at Antena1  RTP radio station is a state-of-the-art broadcasting space that seamlessly combines aesthetics with acoustics to create an optimal environment for radio production, using sustainable sound absorbers.

The studio features an acoustic wall built with Flat Panel VMT (Virtual Material Technology), customized with the vibrant signage colors of the National Broadcasting Radio Station. The gradient combination of colors not only adds a visually dynamic element to the studio but also reflects the station's brand identity. All this with the added factor of being made with VicPET Wool, mostly produced from recycled plastic bottles, presents a sustainable solution.

Broadband absorbers in creative combinations

To enhance sound quality, the studio incorporates another wall with the Cinema VMT line of square sound-absorbers Cinema Piano VMT and Cinema Fortissimo VMT. These acoustic panels are strategically placed to absorb sound reflections, minimizing echo and ensuring a clean audio recording environment. The use of Cinema VMT contributes to a balanced and immersive audio experience for both radio hosts and listeners while using the VMT sustainable solution.

The classic acoustic panels

The studio integrates the classic Vicoustic's flagship panels VicPattern Wavewood Ultra and Cinema Round Premium. The combination of these acoustic panels adds a touch of elegance to the studio while securing a good acoustic response.

Studio 4 is a perfect blend of functionality, aesthetics, and sustainability. The customized Flat Panel VMT acoustic wall with Antena1 RTP signage colors, paired with the Cinema VMT line and acoustic elements like Wavewood and Cinema Round Premium, creates a sophisticated and eco-conscious broadcasting space for the renowned radio station.
