The new Focal Powered by Naim store-within-a-store at CasaHiFi, located in the Coconut Grove part of the city of Miami, Florida, displays an incredible Home Cinema showroom. The 9.9.4-speaker home theater is built with Focal architectural speakers and is equipped with the latest top-of-the-line Cinema Forte VMT sound-absorbers, alongside other Vicoustic solutions, including Flexi Wave Ultra, Multifuser DC3 (now DC4), Multifuser Wood MKII, Cinema Round Premium and VicTotem Ultra VMT.
The use of the high-performance Cinema Forte VMT was selected to control early reflections and contribute to broadband sound absorption down to 125 Hz. The entire room was treated following a project designed by Vicoustic's Project Team.
"Enlightening experience"
"The CasaHiFi store in Miami was an enlightening experience", says Mark Henninger, in an article at Home Theater Review. The author loved this home theater for avoiding holes in walls for speaker placement and for having a dedicated "Party Mode".

A party mode that plays music through the front main speakers and reinforces it with the surrounds playing a summed mono signal, and the subwoofers are tuned so that bass is not overwhelming toward the rear of the room, where people can hang out while closer to the front the bass energy is focused, so you get that nightclub feel. Who said home theaters are just for watching movies! This is like a private VIP suite in a nightclub.
Demo Spaces
CasaHiFi is the creation of Antonio Gaspard, acoustics and high-fidelity audio expert and coffee aficionado. Aside from the dedicated home theater room, two of the audio demo spaces within the space are not closed-off. The store features an open layout with open listening areas.
