Vicoustic is presenting Virtual Material Technology (VMT) as a turnkey 4-in-1 solution for the buildings of the future and pre-releasing VicStrip slat panel, at BATIMAT 2022 trade show, in Paris, France, 3-6 October. 

The upcoming VicStrip is a new innovative approach to slat panels by introducing laminated VicPET Wool free of wood, making it more sustainable, flexible and lightweight. 

Visitors of the show are welcomed with a sound experience: crossing an acoustic tunnel made with VMT. Once inside the tunnel treated with Vicoustic’s sound-absorbing VMT technology, the visitors experience how the sound is absorbed and the inner sounds are enhanced. At the show, visitors are also able to experience the new VicBooth Office 1x1 acoustic phone booth.

VMT Technology 4-in-1 solution

3. VMT improves the acoustics in any room

The VMT panels are additionally designed to perform as sound absorbers primarily in the medium and high frequencies, controlling reverberation time and echoes in any room. Perfect for restaurants, offices, public or residential spaces, etc. This allows an improved sound environment and better well-being in any space equipped with VMT.

4. VMT makes rooms greener with sustainable materials

VMT is produced from VicPET Wool, a unique material produced mainly from recycled plastic bottles. The products are 100% recyclable at end of life as no glue or fabric is being used.
