Winner of the dream studio

The grand prize winner of Beatport x Loopcloud's 2021 Global Producer Challenge is Ja. Magda, an Ukrainian techno artist currently living in Saudi Arabia. The winning track “Frigate” will be considered later for a release on Radio Slave’s Rekids imprint later this year. Check out a preview below.

Hailing from Ukraine, Yaroslav Magda (AKA Ja. Magda) first started producing music at 16 years old, finding inspiration in techno, breakbeat, and ambient. Between running underground parties with his uncle, DJ Fabio, and releasing music, Magda’s techno productions are both well-formed and distinctive. 

The $30,000 Grand Prize Studio includes a VicStudio Box and custom-made Flat Panel VMT offered by Vicoustic. The acoustic treatment will help him get "a proper studio" to work on his music "like all producers dream of".

30 finalists enter public vote

30 finalists of the Global Producer Challenge have been selected by the 6 partner labels. They have entered into the public vote. Anyone can download the LabelRadar mobile app and vote! 

The winner of the Public vote will become the Grand Prize Winner to get a dream studio that includes acoustic treatment by Vicoustic, composed of a VicStudio Box and custom-made Flat Panel VMT.

2,805 entries on the Challenge

This year's Global Producer Challenge received 2,805 entries. The organizers will announce 30 Finalists from all genres on August 6th who will enter the public vote to decide the winner of the $30,000 Grand Prize Studio.

The studio of your dreams for the best producer

Vicoustic joined Beatport, Loopcloud, Beatsource, LabelRadar and Plugin Boutique to offer acoustic treatment for a dream studio to the winner of the Global Producer Challenge, the biggest music producer competition of 2021. 

30 genre finalists will receive $2,500 worth of equipment from software and service partners, and will then go head-to-head to be in with a chance of winning the grand prize – a dream studio setup worth $30,000, including a VicStudio Box and a custom-made large Flat Panel VMT by Vicoustic.
