Designed and installed by our partners, Owaish For Pro-AV (OAV), the studio features a comprehensive ecosystem of Vicoustic solutions to achieve a neutral listening environment, controlled reverberation, and a striking visual identity.
Tailored Acoustic Solutions
To tackle the room's unique acoustic challenges and create the ultimate sweet spot, OAV utilized a hybrid approach, treating every critical surface with specialized Vicoustic products:
Ceiling (Diffusion & Absorption)
To create a diffuse, immersive sound field without over-deadening the room, the ceiling is outfitted with the Multifuser DC3 (now evolved into the Multifuser DC4). These bi-dimensional diffusers are flanked by fabric-covered Cinema Round Premium panels, which expertly control first reflections from above.
Walls (Hybrid Treatment)
The walls feature a sophisticated blend of acoustic treatments to manage mid and high frequencies. Wavewood Ultra Lite panels and additional Cinema Round Premium panels provide targeted absorption. To maintain the room’s natural liveliness, solid wood Multifuser Wood MKII panels were integrated to scatter sound waves evenly. Finally, the unmistakably sleek Flexi Wave Ultra panels were added, serving dual duty as both absorbers and diffusers while elevating the studio's modern aesthetic.
Corners (Low-Frequency Control)
Because managing bass is the most critical hurdle in any production space, OAV installed Super Bass Extreme Ultra bass traps in the corners. These highly efficient traps minimize unwanted room modes and resonant frequencies, keeping the low-end tight and punchy.
Tracking Zone (Vocal Isolation)
To guarantee pristine vocal and instrument takes, the studio utilizes the Flexi Screen Ultra MKII. This premium microphone shield effectively isolates the sound source from the room's natural ambiance, ensuring dry, coloration-free recordings.
OAV team successfully transformed this space into a haven for audio professionals. The warm wood finishes blend seamlessly with the elegant fabrics and modern diffusion profiles, proving that uncompromising acoustic performance can—and should—look incredible.
