Race against reverberation won

One of the most outstanding projects from Vicoustic, for courage and risk, was that of the British television broadcasting channel ITV. In 2010, it was the soundproofing of the Limepictures studios that had awakened the British broadcasting market's curiosity about the acoustic solutions of the then-small and unknown Portuguese company.

The success of the project led ITV to award Vicoustic with the project for its studios in Leeds. The challenge was risky and consisted in guaranteeing a reverberation time under 0.6 seconds, dealing with 125 Hertz frequencies. If the result was not achieved, the client would not pay. But everything that could go right did go right. The success triggered a virtuous spiral that led other TV stations to use the services of Vicoustic.
