Inside a man-cave in Portugal, industrial engineer Pedro Pereira built a Home Theater that blends engineering precision, acoustic performance, and true DIY spirit. With Vicoustic Team’s support, Pedro turned a small, challenging room into a cinematic space.

When it came to selecting products, Pedro admits that being an engineer made him particularly sensitive to craftsmanship and functionality. Acoustically, the room posed real challenges. The solution came through a carefully designed acoustic treatment plan. Wall panels, including Cinema Round Premium, Flexi Wave Ultra, and VicPattern Ultra Wavewood MKII, addressed early reflections, while ceiling modules, Multifuser DC3 and Cinema Round Premium, delivered the biggest impact. In addition, VicTotem Ultra VMT units were placed in two corners to refine the low-frequency response and optimize the overall sound.
