VicSpacer is an upgrade to Vicoustic’s flagship product Flat Panel VMT, specially developed to improve the acoustics of any room. By spacing the panel 40 mm away from the walls and ceiling, VicSpacer helps to enhance the Flat Panel VMT acoustic performance in the medium and low-frequency regions.

Fixation upgrade with style

The new fixation system used by VicSpacer makes Flat Panel VMT compatible with the VicFix fixation system, either the VicFix Mini or the J Profile System, already being used on other Vicoustic’s solutions. VicSpacer can be installed in the ceiling (using VicFix J Profile 2m). It can also be screwed to the ceiling or to the wall. Made from wood and lacquered steel, it was designed to cover the white sides of Flat Panel VMT in an elegant way, available in White, Black and Grey Matte.

A solution for Bass Trap

VicSpacer can be used as Bass Trap, by placing it in the corners. For this you will need to use VicFix Corner and VicFix 80mm (not included).

VicSpacer Plus adds extra PET panels

VicSpacer Plus is an extra version of this new solution that includes 8 extra PET panels, to further improve the performance of the Flat Panel VMT. By using one additional layer of PET to increase absorption, this new accessory will help to deal with the most demanding acoustic challenges, with a sustainable solution made mainly from recycled plastic.

Made for Flat Panel VMT

Both VicSpacer and VicSpacer Plus will need to be combined with Flat Panel VMT of 20 mm thickness, and are compatible with all sizes of the panel, from 595x595 to 1190x595, including the XXL 2380x1190. Created exclusively by Vicoustic, Flat Panel VMT is made from VicPET Wool, a material produced mainly from recycled plastic bottles. With an innovative dyeing technology, Virtual Material Technology (VMT) panels can simulate concrete, marble, wood and other materials, achieving an amazing and realistic look. Flat Panel VMT is designed to perform primarily in the medium and high frequencies. Therefore, these panels provide a great acoustic solution to implement in any commercial or residential setting.
