Vicoustic, the leader in sustainable acoustic solutions, is proud to announce at the High End Munich 2025 that its innovative product VicShape 3D has been awarded the Red Dot Award 2025 for outstanding Product Design.

The Red Dot Award is one of the world's most renowned international design competitions, recognizing outstanding achievements in product design, innovation, and functionality. 

This year’s competition attracted thousands of entries from around the world, with VicShape 3D standing out for its unique 3D geometry, sustainable material composition, and architectural versatility.

When art meets acoustics: VicShape 3D

VicShape 3D fits in all kinds of spaces, including living rooms and Hi-Fi listening rooms, as an easy and stylish way to enhance the acoustic of a room.

The VicShape 3D line is part of Vicoustic’s High Density Polyester (HD PET) fibres acoustic panels range, crafted from up to 70% recycled materials and fully recyclable, making it a sustainable choice for green building projects.

This relief art panel is elaborated from three layers of PET HD for sound absorption framed in a high-quality premium frame in natural oak veneer. The 3D artwork of these geometric wall sculptures adds a contemporary touch to any setting with its abstract art lines. You can creatively re-align the different boards to create your "own" artwork. Its sculptural design enhances both sound clarity and visual impact, making it ideal for offices, hospitality environments, and residential spaces.

A combination of different designs and colours

VicShape 3D, available in a single unit and in a 2 units combination, the VicShape 3d Duo, is also expanding its creative potential with a fresh palette of PET HD colours: Tornado, Coral Haze, Glacier, Pearl, and Gleam, alongside with Black.

The Red Dot Award jury praised VicShape 3D for its forward-thinking approach to acoustics, sustainability, and integration into modern interiors.

2nd win for Vicoustic at the Red Dot Awards

This marks the second time Vicoustic wins a Red Dot Award, following the 2020 Product Design for the GEN_VMT Collection of acoustic tiles and panels. Included in the VMT (Virtual Material Technology) product line, the GEN_VMT was successfully implemented by architects, interior designers, and creative professionals in the past five years.
