Vicoustic won an Honorable Mention in the National Brand category at the event The Best & The Biggest of Technological Portugal 2023, promoted by Exame Informática and VISÃO magazines, which annually distinguishes Portuguese entrepreneurs, innovators and companies in the field of Technology.
About Vicoustic, the juri described its unique accomplishements: "Only when it's too noisy do we really value silence. This Portuguese company creates spaces of privacy and acoustic insulation for video games and beyond. Their flagship product, the VicBooth Gaming booth, reduces noise by 30 decibels, creating the ideal environment for an immersive gaming experience. Some of the more than 1,000 projects a year are for clients such as Apple and Microsoft."
The awards ceremony took place on November 23 at the Portuguese Communications Foundation in Lisbon. Ekaterina Carapinha, CFO of Vicoustic, received the award on behalf of the company.
"First and foremost, I would like to thank Exame Informática for this award, the jury for selecting us, and the whole team for organizing this event. I'd also like to thank the Vicoustic team who do their roles every day with dedication to the brand, and I would also like to thank our customers for choosing our acoustic products", said Ekaterina Carapinha in her speech.
In this year's edition of The Best of Technological Portugal, the distinguished categories are: National Brand, Manufacturer of the Year, VOLT, Social Responsibility, Digital Service and Innovation - Pedro Oliveira.
