Vicoustic celebrates 15 years of acoustic innovation

Vicoustic is celebrating its 15th anniversary. During all these years of developing acoustic innovations, manufacturing over one million acoustic panels, and delivering thousands of acoustic treatment projects, Vicoustic has established itself as the sustainable brand that everyone should think about when one thinks about acoustics. 

We asked audio professionals and artists to open their rooms to us and share their thoughts about Vicoustic.

Founded in 2007 in Portugal, Vicoustic is today a leading force in the industry, that can be found in over 80 countries around the world. From its beginning, the brand stands for developing acoustic solutions with visually appealing designs. Whether it’s a Home Cinema, Hi-Fi room, or a Recording and Mixing studio for professional audio, radio, and television, our expertise in peak acoustic performance is second-to-none. Today, Vicoustic is bringing its know-how to other areas, such as offices, restaurants, schools, auditoriums, and similar interior rooms. 

Being at the forefront of acoustic technology, Vicoustic stands out for fully integrating acoustic performance with other sustainability goals, such as air quality, human safety, and health, in acoustic solutions with great visual designs. 

Producing acoustic products in a sustainable and environmentally conscious way, Vicoustic manufactures its VMT line of acoustic panels from VicPET Wool, made mostly from recycled plastic, and has used over 250 tons of plastic waste, an equivalent to roughly 22 Million standard PET bottles (500ml) being recycled. 

Following a long experience in acoustic solutions, Vicoustic has now turned its skill to modular offices and phone booths. Having built some of the best solutions for other brands for years, the brand is selling the leading booths for professional audio solutions, the VicBooth Ultra, and a new solution for workspaces, the VicBooth Office. 

Throughout the years, Vicoustic has won several awards and recognitions, from which we point out the Red Dot Product Design 2020 Award for its GEN_VMT collection and the German Design Award 2022 for VicBooth.
