A new concept of cloud

GEN_VMT PENRAY 01 Cloud redefines the traditional concept of acoustic clouds. This generative structure allows you to create a set of combinations not only optimizing the acoustic environment but also adding aesthetic values to any space. Being a suspended element, it presents twice the area of absorbing material exposed next to a common acoustic panel.

Explore colors and combinations

GEN_VMT PENRAY 01 Tiles are formed by two different modules that once connected generate regular and irregular grids, exploring different colors and combinations. A perfect solution for small spaces, this new set of tiles is highly effective to reduce excess noise in various settings, adding an innovative interior design asset to an architectural project.

Sustainable collection

GEN_VMT, the Generative Collection, is a set of acoustic tiles, panels and clouds with a fresh new design concept. The innovations introduced by environmentally sustainable raw material VicPET Wool, mainly produced from recycled plastic (65%), and VMT technology, developed by Vicoustic for superb acoustic performance, take on a new dimension in terms of design. The geometry of GEN_VMT allows generating endless combinations with no limit to creativity.

Red Dot Award

Vicoustic’s collection GEN_VMT was awarded the Red Dot Award: Product Design 2020 for its outstanding design quality. The GEN_VMT PENRAY 02 Tiles, the first set launched in the collection, is shown at the Red Dot Website, a hotspot for best-in-class industrial design, among other highly prestigious winners of this year, such as Apple, Google, Porsche and Ferrari. You can find it on the 2020's winners list of Product Design for the Interior Elements category: Red Dot Online Exhibition. 

The statement by the Red Dot Jury is deeply praising and valuing for the GEN_VMT:

"The design of these acoustic panels is highly accomplished in its successful combination of innovative technology with the sustainable use of materials."

Throughout the in-depth selection process, the world-renowned experts from different disciplines of the Red Dot jury evaluated more than 6,500 products from companies and designers from 60 countries. The jurors test all of the entries in order to assess not just the aesthetic but also the materials selected, the level of craftsmanship, the surface structure, ergonomics and functionality. 

After intensive discussions, they make a decision on the design quality of the products. True to the motto “In search of good design and innovation”, only the best designs receive an award. 

The unique new GEN_VMT collection was selected in the Interior Design Elements category. GEN_VMT PENRAY 02 Tiles have been longlisted for the Archiproducts Design Awards 2020.
