ISO 9001:2015 is the international standard for quality management systems. Certified by SGS, it covers the design, production and commercialization of UniVicoustic's products and solutions for acoustic treatment, from acoustic engineering and development through to manufacturing and after-sales service. This means an independent body has confirmed that our quality management system meets these requirements consistently - documented, audited and maintained at every step.

The PEFC - Programme for the Endorsement of Forest Certification - confirms that the wood used in certified products by Visound Acústica S.A (Vicoustic) originates from sustainably managed forests. It provides full Chain of Custody traceability, ensuring the material is tracked from a verified sustainable source through every stage of production, in line with strict environmental, social, and economic standards.

The FSC® - Forest Stewardship Council® - certification guarantees that the wood used in certified products by Visound Acústica S.A (Vicoustic) comes from forests managed to the highest environmental and social standards. With full Chain of Custody traceability, it ensures responsible sourcing that protects biodiversity, respects workers’ rights, and supports local communities. www.fsc.org

In November 2025, ANI, Portugal's National Innovation Agency, recognized that Visound Acústica S.A. (UniVicoustic) meets the required standard of suitability for Research and Development activities. The recognition covers the domain of Production Technologies and Product Industry, in the field of innovative products with high added value. This recognition is valid for 11 years.

VicPET Wool, the non-woven textile used in the VMT line and other solutions, and High-Density PET (HD PET) are low-emitting materials, releasing low levels of volatile organic compounds (VOCs) and formaldehyde, both of which can affect indoor air quality. Their low emissions help support a healthy indoor environment.

VicPET Wool, used in VMT and other PET solutions, is certified to OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100, meeting the human-ecological requirements established for baby articles. VicPET Wool non-irritating to the skin and eyes, do not generate dust during handling, and is thermally bonded without added chemical binders.

The high-pressure laminate (HPL) used in the Ultra family of products is certified with an Environmental Product Declaration, meeting the requirements of ISO 14025 and EN 15804. This means the environmental performance of the raw material conforms with the Life Cycle Assessment required by ISO standards, and with the standard for the sustainability of construction works and services.
