Acoustic designs for a Dolby Atmos Mix Room
Vaudeville specialises in creative sound design and mixing for television, streaming platforms, commercials, trailers and promo spots for broadcast, theatrical and digital formats. To achieve accurate sound reproduction, its sound mixing rooms are acoustically treated to minimize reflections and standing waves that can distort the sound, using acoustic panels, diffusers, and bass traps to control the frequency response and decay time of the room.
"This is our third studio in which we have used Vicoustic for our room treatment. Their project planning and RT graphs are brilliant and an integral part of our studio designs. They have helped us create a great sounding Dolby Atmos Mix Room, which is comfortable, and that clients love to work in."
Lois Green, Group Coordinator of Vaudeville
This mixing room is a specialized space designed to accurately reproduce and manipulate audio for Dolby Atmos, which is an immersive audio format that allows sound designers to place and move sound objects in a three-dimensional space.
