When swedish renovation specialists Dryft took on the challenge of a total basement renovation, the goal was clear: create an uncompromising home cinema experience. The result is a stunning blend of high-end interior design and precision acoustic engineering, powered by Vicoustic solutions.
Turning a standard room into a professional-grade home theater requires total control over the soundscape. To achieve this, the project team utilized a comprehensive acoustic treatment plan that balances absorption, diffusion and bass management.

The Acoustic Solution
To control reflections and maintain clarity, the walls feature a combination of VicPattern Ultra MKII and Cinema Round Premium. These panels not only manage excess noise but also blend perfectly with the room's dark, cinematic aesthetic.
For that true theater rumble, Super Bass Extreme Ultra VMT were installed in the corners. These manage the low-end frequencies, ensuring the bass is powerful without being muddy.
To create a "larger than life" audio experience, the side walls utilize Multifuser DC3 (the predecessor to the current Multifuser DC4).
The Result
The combination of Dryft’s expertise and Vicoustic’s acoustic technology has transformed this basement into a luxury entertainment hub. With plush seating, dynamic lighting, and a perfectly balanced acoustic environment, this project is a prime example of how dedicated treatment elevates a home cinema.
