Japan's acoustic haven
Surrounded by the City's fascinating fusion of ancient and modern Japanese culture, the Tokyo Experience Centre provides a relaxed and peaceful setting where Genelec's team help clients to select the perfect loudspeaker system for their room.
One of the key aspects of a sound experience centre is the use of acoustic treatment with sound absorbers, sound diffusers, bass traps and hybrid sound panels evenly distributed throughout each of the rooms, to avoid reflective surfaces in the walls and ceiling. Vicoustic range of acoustic panels has a main role in this centre to provide an effective environment for all sound tests and demonstrations.
Immersive Room
The Immersive Room stands out for its height, which required a wide and varied range of acoustic panels to contribute to a better experience when testing the 13 loudspeakers installed in this room, mainly to serve as a home cinema or media room. Flexi Wave Ultra become almost a trademark of the room, where diffusion is reinforced by the extensive use of Multifuser DC3.
Stereo Studio Room
Just one chair marks the sweet spot in the Stereo Studio Room, which can be arranged to listen to different stereo monitors. Cinema Round Premium sound absorbers are mixed with Multifuser DC3 sound diffusers and Super Bass Extreme Ultra bass traps in a room that reflects Japan's interior architecture.
