If the vertical plants in the corners are the trademark of PLANTA Music Lab recording studio, in Lisbon, Portugal, the acoustic panels, mostly in wood patterns, are essential for the good quality of sound that can be achieved in music recordings and mastering.
Songwriter, guitarist and producer Jonny Abbey shares the PLANTA Music Lab studio with Producer and Mixing Engineer Miguel Ferrador. They both recognize the importance of the acoustic treatment in the room: "Regarding acoustic solutions, we are satisfied in general, both in terms of diffusion and aesthetics".
