It is a private home studio purpose-designed for composing, music arrangement, and main vocal recording. Acoustic Treatment
Walls: Absorption & Diffusion
Cinema Round Premium panels cover the primary surfaces in both rooms, delivering broadband mid-to-high frequency absorption and eliminating early reflections at listening height. Flexi Wave Ultra panels placed on corner transitions scatter and absorb simultaneously, preventing flutter echo. Multifuser Wood MKII two-dimensional diffusers scatter sound across both horizontal and vertical planes in the mid and high frequencies. Flat Panel VMT in a custom pattern, anchors the primary treatment wall with a bespoke large-format design unique to this installation.
Ceiling: Diffusion & Absorption
The ceiling combines three solutions: Multifuser DC3 (now updated into Multifuser DC4) bi-dimensional diffusers scatter sound across a wide frequency range, flanked by Cinema Round Premium panels for absorption and Flexi Wave Ultra for hybrid scattering and absorption. The result is a fully treated overhead field, one of the most critical and often overlooked surfaces.
Corners: Bass Control & Diffusion
Super Bass Extreme Ultra is designed to provide effective low frequency absorption. The floor-standing VicTotem column sits in the rear corner, delivering omnidirectional full-bandwidth diffusion and adding spatial depth at the mix position without increasing reverberation time.
Al-Ayoub composes, arranges, and tracks main vocals in a space that performs at a commercial studio level, inside his own home. OAV's treatment proves that acoustic precision and refined interior design are not a trade-off: warm taupe fabric panels, white diffusion geometry, and architectural LED cove lighting produce an environment as intentional visually as it is acoustically.
