Enter the dark control room

The ambiance is dark when you step into the control room, with acoustic panels furnishing the walls and sound diffusers in the ceiling, all in dark tones. Light stands out from a large collection of guitars, some of them hang on the wall in acoustic panels drawn to support the instruments: the VicDisplay Guitar.

A Guitarrist home

This is the control room/recording room of Kiko Loureiro, a Brazilian guitarist, that has been a member of several heavy metal bands, including Angra and Megadeth. He created a Guitar Academy and is promoting tours, mostly in his home country, Brazil, and Finland, where he lives today.

An acoustic kit with style

When Kiko Loureiro decided to treat the acoustics of his room in Finland, he turned to Vicoustic to develop an acoustic project for his room. Being a small-scale control room, the team of Acousticians recommended a VicStudio VMT Box, an acoustic kit featuring Flat Panel VMT with VicSpacer Plus incorporating the design lines of Wavewood. The bi-dimensional sound diffuser Multifuser DC3, included in the acoustic kit, was suggested for the ceiling to increase the sense of spaciousness.

What small rooms need 

Since small spaces may result in room modes, Super Bass Extreme Ultra was recommended to act as a bass trap. It was installed in the corners of the ceiling to control low frequencies anomalies. The room's treatment is completed with VicPattern Ultra Wavewood.

Among all these functional solutions, the most stunning are the two VicDisplay Guitar. These acoustic panels designed to support guitars make the perfect marriage with a guitarist's room, which is also the home to his collection of guitars. Now he has a place to hang them and show his love for guitars.
