DJ Liv Attic Studio

From a small sloped room to a high-quality studio

DJ and Producer Wojciech Lotka, from Poland, goes under the stage name Liv. His home studio has roof slopes common in an attic, compromising the distribution of sound waves. Vicoustic's Wavewood Ultra Lite and Multifuser DC3 immediately improved the acoustic response in the room.

“I chose Vicoustic panels because I didn't want to cut corners or use half-measures to dampen and clarify the sound in the working space of my newly built home studio. At the beginning, I decided not to know what to choose... because I had never had any contact with Wavewood Ultra Lite acoustic panels and Multifuser, but I have seen many arrangements using these panels and also positive opinions about Vicoustic on the Internet.”

The Music Producer recognizes his studio is far from perfect when it comes to construction. It is a rectangle (roof slopes, speakers placed on the longer wall). However, after consulting with advisors from Vicoustic representatives in Poland, he was asked for a budget and they selected products that would give him the best effect for a given space.

For those curious, the panels are hung not with glue but on aluminum profiles that DJ Liv installed in the walls and on Vicoustic panels with the addition of HDF boards which he additionally illuminated from the back with RGBW LEDs.
