A Natural Stones look
A luxurious modern villa was equipped with a complete Movie Theater with Dolby Atmos technology and an acoustic treatment concept designed by Vicoustic, integrated in the S26 project developed by RCO21.
The deluxe glare of this well-appointed home cinema setup deserved the over-the-top look of a dark stone in the walls, alongside with acoustic absorbers. The solution was to apply Vicoustic’s Flat Panel VMT high performance absorbers from the Natural Stones Collection in the Grey Stone pattern.
Diffusion, Absorption and Bass Trap
In order to control early reflections while creating a sense of spaciousness inside, Wavewood Diffuser Ultra and Cinema Round Premium were also used. For low-frequency acoustic treatment, Super Bass Extreme VMT were suggested as bass traps in the corners of the room.
S26 project was conceived by RCO21 for a villa with a multiroom audio system, IP video distribution and cinema room equipped with custom James Loud Speakers and with the best acoustics by Vicoustic.
The acoustic treatment was planned by Vicoustic’s Project Team of acousticians.
