Human safety

We integrate acoustic performance with air quality, human safety and health

Alongside with the use of recycled and recyclable materials, Vicoustic’s new line of products takes a holistic approach into account by fully integrating its acoustic performance with other sustainability goals, such as air quality, human safety and health.

Low emissions for air quality

VicPET Wool, the non-woven textile used on our VMT line and other solutions, is a low-emitting material with low emissions of VOC (Volatile Organic Compounds) or formaldehyde, indoor air pollutants. This means it has good indoor air quality.

Fire resistance rated

VicPET Wool also meets EuroClass B fire regulations and safety standards. Through research, innovation and the search for the best raw materials, Vicoustic also has fire resistance rated products with components made with improved fire and flammability behaviour, certified by accredited labs.

Safe for humans' health

Unlike foams that release harmful materials, VicPET Wool is certified by OEKO-TEX 100 Standard, meeting the human-ecological requirements presently established for baby articles. VicPET Wool does not irritate skin or eyes, it is humidity resistant and has no dust generation during handling. No chemicals were used and is thermally bonded.

Washable and resistant

VMT is washable and easy to clean, simply by a sponge and water.
