You may wonder if you need an acoustic treatment for your room. To ensure that we manage each bespoke project with the utmost attention, Vicoustic has a whole department dedicated to offering professional support, whether you are creating an intimate home studio or a world-class facility.
The following 4 videos intend to give you some understanding to acoustic issues you may be experiencing in your room and how Vicoustic Project Department Team can guide you finding a solution for them.
Acoustic Treatment for Recording Room, Home Studio or Control Room
In the first video, you will see that in a Professional Audio room you will need to deal with several different acoustic issues - like, for e.g.: first reflections; room modes, reverberation time - in order to achieve a proper acoustic environment that allows you to critically monitor your work.

Acoustic Treatment for Home Theater or Cinema
In the second video, you can see that in a Home Theater you will need to deal with sound field anomalies, along with early reflections and reverberation time, in order to clearly hear what the film Director intended.

Restaurant Acoustic Treatment
In the third video, the critical factor in a restaurant is controlling excessive background noise in order to achieve a comfortable place to eat. How many of us had to leave earlier from a restaurant due to excessive noise? Nothing that an acoustic wall or ceiling won’t solve.

Office Acoustic Solution
As a final example, a loudspeaker playing a speech that was recorded in an anechoic room* was installed in a meeting room. The video starts with the room acoustically untreated and then the surfaces start to be treated. The main concern in this case is to maximize speech intelligibility so that people can properly understand each other during their meetings. The differences are huge in terms of intelligibility: see and listen for yourself.
* An anechoic room is basically a room without an echo., i.e. a room without any reflections where there is only direct sound.

As you could see and hear, in these 4 cases, each room type has different sound needs.
I am extremely happy with the end results - the room looks sensational and sounds great!

I could not have improved my audio system better than that, with any other method or device!
